“My story starts when I was 12 years old. I was hiking trails and putting up tents at girls camp, when I wondered what church was true. I looked around and it seemed like all the girls could say “I know this is the true church” , but I would shy away. It wasn’t until a youth leader said to all of us, “If you have a question, Heavenly Father will answer it.” Her testimony really hit me, and I felt like God was talking direclty to me.
So that night, I was determined to receive an answer. I knelt in that tiny tent, and prayed to know if this was the true church. I then opened my Book of Mormon and started to read for the first time.
Since then, I haven’t stopped reading. I received an answer that filled my soul with so much peace and love. I knew it was true, and that God loved me. Now that blank Book of Mormon I once opened, is marked and highlighted with words I share with others on my mission. If there’s anything I want people to know, it’s that I know this is the true church of Jesus Christ on the earth today, and that if you have a question, God will answer it.”
